Maurizio is a longtime member of Canadian death metal pioneers Kataklysm. Being an original member since they formed in 1991, Maurizio started as the band's bassist and back up vocalist. However, in 1998 he moved over the lead vocalist. In their long career the band has released 15 studio albums, with the most recent, 'Goliath', being released just last week (August 11th) through Nuclear Blast.
