It’s always super exciting to get that new guitar, amplifier, or effects pedal. And as guitarists, we are always chasing the next “revolutionary tone shaping device.”
But the little “boring” bits of gear that we integrate throughout our work flow are the pieces that sometimes make the biggest impact on our creative lives!
I wanted to make this clip to remind you (and myself) to not wait around on those “boring” gear buys.
Something as small as a strip of velcro can make your day to day life so much easier and more convenient. Yet so many of us will procrastinate those purchases until our dying day.
So grab that mic stand, that screwdriver set, that extra roll of gaffer tap, that patch cable, that tuner… Whatever it is, consider this your signal to go get the thing!
